Project Manager at Motto

Motto is an award-winning branding agency based in NYC that works with visionary leaders to build inspiring and magnetic brands. We're a small, passionate team and have the utmost commitment to what we do and the value we bring to our clients. 

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to serve as the guardian of the team, budget, schedule and will serve as the control center for all of our projects.

  • Work with Motto leadership team to develop and implement strategic project plans.
  • Act as a liaison between the Motto team and our clients through development and creative.
  • Initiate proposals and project plans. 
  • Set up meetings across multiple team members across various cities/countries.
  • Coordinate brand workshops including itineraries, catering, tools and lists for each workshop.
  • Estimate new projects and look for opportunities to grow Motto's service offerings within each client.
  • Thoroughly understands project coordination and scheduling for strategy, design and digital projects.
  • Proactively gathers project-related information to plan and implement each of Motto's client projects.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day client relationships as a primary contact, acting as a guide and communicating the agency's strategic views and business philosophies.
  • Manage profitability, resource allocation, and timelines for project to stay on time/budget.
  • Keeps the Motto leadership team up to date on any issues that may impact or affect client relationships.
  • Anticipates utilization scenarios and makes strategic recommendations to address them.
  • Build and strengthen Motto's client relationships, proactively working to ensure clients have an exceptional experience.


  • We will consider applicants looking for a full time position.
  • Also willing to consider a 1099 contract position to start with the potential for full-time position.
  • We will consider a remote engagement.
  • Only applicants with branding or design experience in an agency setting will be eligible.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Basecamp, UberConference, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs as a primary project management tool.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience delivering projects online.
  • Experience working with clients or on projects that are 100% remote.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Dynamic presentation skills a plus.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet client needs and priorities.
